Railway Recruitment 2024 : Friends, Northern Frontier Railway has announced the recruitment for 5647 Apprenticeship Posts . The application process for this recruitment has started and can be applied online by visiting nfr.indianrailways.gov.in till 3rd December 2024.
Northern Frontier Railway has these apprentice posts available for various trades such as Carpenter, Fitter, Welder, Painter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Turner, Machinist, and Wireman. No written test or interview will be conducted to enter this recruitment . The recruitment will be based on marks obtained in 10th standard and ITI courses only , and candidates will be selected on merit based on these marks only.
For Laboratory Technician (Pathology) and Laboratory Technician (Radiology) , merit list will be prepared on the basis of Matriculation (minimum 50% marks) + 12th Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) merits. The duration of this apprenticeship will be from one year to one year 3 months.

Railway Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
- Friends, this recruitment merit list will be prepared on the basis of 10th and ITI marks, with 50-50% weightage given to both the ranks.
- Merit list for Lab Technician (Pathology) and Lab Technician (Radiology) will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Matriculation (with 50% marks) + 12th Science .
Railway Recruitment 2024 Age Limit
- Friends, candidates age should be minimum 15 years and maximum 24 years. Age will be calculated from 16 September 2024 onwards.
- An additional relaxation of 3 years will be given for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST and 10 years for Divyang.
Railway Recruitment 2024 Application Fee
- A fee of Rs 100 will be charged for this application . However, this fee is waived for SC, ST, Divyang, EBC and women.
No Job Guarantee After Training
Friends, no job guarantee is given to trainee after completion of apprenticeship. An employer does not undertake to employ a trainee, and a trainee is not a construction worker.
