Application Process for Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana
- First, open the Skill India Digital website (www.skillindiadigital.gov.in) or PMKVY website (www.pmkvyofficial.org) or download the mobile app.
- On the homepage, select the ‘Register’ or ‘Apply Now’ option. Enter your name, mobile number, email address and Aadhaar number. Verify with OTP.
- The details will be automatically filled using Aadhaar. Provide your education, location, and interests.
- There are courses in more than 40 areas such as healthcare, electronics, food processing, AI and drones. Online counseling will help you choose which curriculum and training center to choose.
- Upload Aadhaar, photo, bank details and any certificates.
- Check and submit the form. You will receive a confirmation via SMS or email, which will include details of the training center.
- The training is free and the government provides funding. Training ranges from 150 to 600 hours, including training during the job.
Certificate Process
- Assessment (Theory + practical) after completion of training.
- Evaluation by Sector Skill Council (SSC).
- National Certificate and Financial Award (by DBT) on passing.
- Digital Verification: Through QR Code and DigiLocker.
